Tooth Colored Filings
When it is necessary to remove decay or replace
an old worn amalgam (silver) metal filling, we
place a variety of tooth colored restorations.
These resin fillings not only restore and protect
the health of your teeth, but enhance the beauty
of your smile for years to come.
Porcelain Crowns
Occasionly when a tooth is badly fractured, when
we discover extensive decay, or when an old large
filling breaks, we need to place a porcelain fused
to gold alloy crown. If we do not have a sufficient
amount of natural tooth structure available, we
can use these beautiful restorations to repair
your smile. With the minimum of reduction of natural
tooth structure, we can create a beautiful restoration
that can last decades.
Lumineers
Lumineers are the most wonderful restoration
to be developed in our lifetime. All of our dentists
are certified to place lumineers and have a great
deal of experience. Lumineer are ultra thin porcelain
veneers that cover the surface of an anterior
tooth usually without the need for drilling or
anesthesia (needles). Lumineers can be used to
fill gaps in a smile, straighten teeth and enhance
the color of your teeth. Please call the office
for a free consultation.
Lumineers are the finest cosmetic restoration.
Without compromising tooth structure, with minimum
or no tooth reduction, we can simply apply these
restorations to cover any discolored, misaligned,
or fractured anterior tooth.
Lumineers are remarkably strong and long lasting.
Lumineers offer the most aestheticly pleasing
result for any cosmetic condition. Please take
advantage of our free consultation to see if we
can help you get a "movie star smile."

Missing teeth
If a tooth has been lost, we have several options
to replace the missing tooth (teeth)
- We can use implants which are describe in
a separate section.
- We can use a fixed bridge technique where
we construct a single restoration that is permanently
cemented onto teeth immediately adjacent to
the missing area. The location and the number
of missing teeth dictate the individual design
of each bridge. The bridge is made of a very
strong gold alloy completely covered by tooth
colored porcelain to provide our patients with
a strong, durable and beautiful restoration.
- If there are no teeth available we can offer
to fabricate a partial denture either to provide
a temporary relief to tooth loss or as a permanent
replacement of teeth. This is used when the
arrangement of remaining teeth do not allow
a design for fixed bridgework. As with a full
denture, a partial denture needs to be removed
when a patient sleeps.
Bridges
When confronted with a missing tooth we have
many reasons to replace it. Having a missing tooth
can compromise your appearance, your ability to
chew, and your ability to speak. If we have sound
and strong teeth on both sides of where a tooth
has been lost, in most cases we can construct
a “bridge.” A bridge is permanently
cemented and does not come in and out at night.
We design a bridge specific to the individual’s
situation…bridge technique has been in use
for decades and we are happy to discuss your needs
by consultation.
Implants
Implants are placed when we wish to replace
missing teeth when fixed bridgework is not desired
nor impossible. implants can replace teeth with
disturbing adjacent teeth. Implant designs can
be used to secure a loose fitting denture.
Implants and their restorations take about 3-4
months to complete. The initial part of the procedure
involves our Oral Surgeon placing an implant
in
bone and allowing it to fuse with the bone over
a period of about three months. Following this
period, we then restore the implant using an
abutment
and crown to recreate a beautiful and long lasting
smile. Please cal our office for a free consultation.
Partial Dentures
When faced with several teeth having been lost,
we can use the remaining teeth to support a partial
denture. This can be used for a long term or simply
as a temporary restoration while awaiting the
fabrication of fixed bridgework or implants.
Full Dentures
When confronted with a situation where teeth
and / or periodontium is severely compromised,
we can fabricate a full denture. We have several
types , but most assuredly we have immediate dentures
so it is unnecessary to walk around without teeth
while a permanent denture is fabricated, thus
avoiding the embarrassment of being edentulous
in public.
Most important is the understanding that a poor
fitting lower denture is no longer a “dead
end” or hopeless condition. Please ask us
how we can integrate implants into a denture to
make it secure and retentive.
Pediatric
dentistry
The Doctors in our office are all parents...
and we have a special commitment to helping our
youngest patients.
Preventive Pediatric Care
The finest way to have a healthy adult dentition
is maintaining a proper primary dentition. We
emphasize a total homecare regimen. We rarely
observe cavities in young people when we have
parents commited to routine visits with our hygienist,
sealants and fluorides.
Comprehensive
With our advances in preventive care, we ensure
your child's treatment is rarely more than routine
visit. We stress the cooperation of parents and
young patients with regard to homecare and prevention.
We use fluorides (agents used to prevent cavities)
judiciously , emphasize proper homecare and monitor
eruption patterns for possible orthodontic needs.
Sealants
We recommend sealants for the permanent posterior
teeth in all youngsters where the most common
cavities occur. The very thin sealant is placed
on the surface of a tooth to protect it from bacteria
settling in the pits and anatomical fissures in
the tooth’s enamel. Sadly, when not placed
on permanent molars we see an extremely high rate
of caries (cavities). We suggest sealants on most
children.
Fluoride
In conjunction with good homecare, fluoride is
our leading method to prevent tooth decay. We
find it in all of the toothpastes we recommend
and apply a very strong concentration to the teeth
of young patients during visits to our hygienists.
Under special circumstances we recommend powerful
fluoride rinses, gels, or toothpastes to inhibit
cavities in patients prone to tooth decay. Patients
with orthodontics or a history of tooth decay
are the likely candidates.
We prescribe multi- vitamins with fluoride to
all youngsters between 3 and 11 years of age to
protect permanent teeth developing that have yet
to erupt above the gum line. These fluoride vitamins
strengthen permanent teeth well before being exposed
to the sugars in our diet.
Space Maintenance
We are commited to being aware of eruption and
loss patterns in a young person's mouth. This
sequence is very important to ensure orthodontics
, if necessary, procedes in a routine manner with
thh finest of outcomes. Premature loss of primary
teeth can sometimes cause difficult circumstances
for our young patients, we are observant to use
space maintenance to maintian proper alignment
of teeth.
Cosmetic
dentistry
Dentistry today incorporates cosmetics in each
and every restorative procedure. We strive for
the finest visual and esthetic outcome for our
patients. In addition to the previously mentioned
restorations. We offer tooth whitening (bleaching).

We offer several services for this treatment.
whiter teeth make you feel better and look more
youthful.

Periodontal
Care
Periodontium is the "foundation of your
mouth." It refers to your "gums"
and the bone that anchors your teeth securely
in your mouth. Failing to maintain healthy periodontal
tissue is analogus to building a house on quicksand.
The only way to properly evaluate the health of
your gum tissue is to take pocket readings and
radiographs, and maintain properly scheduled appointments
with our hygientist. Periodontal disease is the
leading cause of tooth loss.
Scaling & Root Planing
This treatment is performed when bacteria invades
the cuff of gum tissue around a tooth. It is usually
found in a generalized manner throughout the mouth.
Bacteria, if not removed, destroys the bone supporting
your teeth. This is periodontal disease has symptoms
of bleeding gums, bad breath, pus, redness of
gums, tooth mobility, and more.
Scaling and root planing involves our hygienists
using special instruments to remove the bacteria
from the roots of your teeth, thus creating an
environment where gum tissue can heal and be maintained.
Failure to treat this disease leads to loss of
teeth.
Peridodontal Treatments
Our gum tissue (periodontium) covers the bone
that retains our teeth in our mouth. Without proper
maintenance of our gum tissue, we could losse
our teeth.
If neglected, gum tissue becomes infected and
has many symptoms including bad breath, bleeding
and swelling, and purulent exudate (pus). Obviously
no one wants these symptoms and the only way to
eradicate this disease is to visit a dentist.
We offer an array of the latest treatment methods
dictated by the extent of the disease present.
We can help you save your teeth by treating the
periodontal problems and giving you a maintenance
program for continued care of your teeth.
Oral
Surgery
Our Board Certified Surgeon practices comprehensive
care. We offer conscious sedation for your comfort.

wisdom tooth, Dr. Auerbach is a careful surgeon
and commited to his profession. We offer a complete
spectrum of Oral Surgery including Implants.

Root Canals
Formally known as endodontic therapy, root canals
are a reliable procedure to save a tooth badly
damaged by decay. We have developed techniques
to comfortably achieve our goals. When decay reaches
the pulp of a tooth (the nerve), we cannot simply
place a filling. Usually in a single visit, we
can painlessly clean in the internal aspects of
the tooth and prevent a further infection. Most
often an tooth in need of a root canal will also
need a crown as a restoration.
Orthodontics
Braces are not for just teenagers! More than
half of our patients are over 25! Please request
a no obligation consultation from our orthodontist.
Traditional Orthodontic Treatment
For most adults, you know what this is all about!
But we offer clear braces (brackets) for our patients
who wish to straighten their teeth with a minimal
metal appearance. Treatment varies in length from
18-24 months in most cases and this can be best
determined by our Orthodontist.

teeth without wires and brackets? Absolutely discreet,
a series Invisalign trays (clear retainers, custom
individually generated by a computer ) gently
move your teeth to a new more beautiful alignment.
All you do is come to the office every six to
eight weeks for us to check your progress and
give you the next in the series of trays. It's
been revolutionary! Please call for a complimentary

responsibilities we have. We maintain a 24 hour
